Virtual School Contract

PCHS parents and guardians: Over the last three weeks, our staff has called each family to try to determine whether you wish for your student(s) to return to in-person classes or use the virtual school option. If we were not able to reach you or left you a message, we ask that you contact the school at 679-1574 to let us know what you plan to do. Your input is very important for planning purposes. For families wanting the Virtual School option, please be aware that there is a Virtual School Contract that will need to be signed and returned to the school by Friday, July 17.  Beginning tomorrow, the contract is available on the PCHS Grade level Google classroom.

Attention Members of the PCHS Graduating Class of 2017

Your cumulative folders will be available to pick up beginning on July 13th at the school from 9-3 each day, through August 5th.  Only the graduate may pick these up and you will need to provide ID.

Online Registration

At Pulaski County Schools we believe engaging guardians, students, and staff forms the foundation for success in our school community.  In order to engage the school community we must maintain current contact information for students and their guardians.  The online registration system will help us do that.

Reopening of Pulaski County Schools

School is expected to open August 5, 2020.   During this time of a pandemic, we must make some hard decisions.  Some will not be popular and I understand, but we must try to make the best decisions for students given the expectations from state agencies.  Our plan follows the expectations of the Kentucky Department of Education and the Kentucky Department of Health.  The plan is based around three common principles: social distancing of at least six feet, wearing a mask when you cannot socially distance, and contact tracing if COVID-19 is present.  Parents will be able to choose a virtual option or attend school on a 5-day normal schedule.  Both options will have conditions that parents must consider when making their decision.  Click on the article title for additional information.
